The day is perfect,
even though I'm alone.
Although I'm sitting on the ground,
and being prodded by a small stone.

I'm not wearing a perfect dress,
I'm just in my faded jeans.
There are no birds chirping aroung my head,
but it seems,
that the sky is blue as it is in my daydreams.

The color of the grass,
that I'm kneeling in.
The temperature's warmer than it's ever been.
The clouds are merely wisps,
curled in the crystal sky.
There are radiant blooms of blushing rose.
As I see them all in a glance,
time flutters by.

And though I'm picking up my siblings,
the summer makes me free.
With all the pinks,
greens,
blues,
and yellows I see,
this beauty around me,
I'm comfortable in my own skin.
I'm happy,
to be here,
and to be me.

Thank you so much for reading, leave some feedback below please. I hope you enjoy it. Just in case you all were wondering where my previous projects "My Enrichment Project" and "Enrichment Project Life" went, I have deleted them, because I have accidentally squished those many poems togeher, when in my opinion, it is a bit messy. So this poem, amoung others, will be submitted seperately, don't be alarmed, please. Thank you. :)
