I Love You Mom

January 8, 2009

The fire burns,
Through her painful embrace,
Fighting
Every step of the way,
She turns
Asks why I'm still here,
I wonder myself,
Is it the fear?
I don't want to lose her,
But she is already gone,
Back to the place that she
Came from,
She boarded the train
In her own personal Holocaust,
Where the station only sells,
ONE WAY TICKETS,
Fighting,
Submitting,
It is all the same price
The pain always equals,
The cost of your life.

My mom died of cancer when I was 11. This is for her. I LOVE YOU MOM.
