My Love For You
My love for you is like the color red,
Like the color of a rose before it is dead,
Like the color of the lips on the bottom of your head,
My love for you is like the color red,
My love for you is like the color blue,
Like the way you feel when you get the flu,
Like a bar of soap when it is still new,
My love for you is like the color blue,
My love for you is like the color green,
Like the color of a freshly picked lima bean,
Like the color of a very, very dirty latrine,
My love for you is like the color green,
My love for you is like the color pink,
Like the color of your face when you try to think,
Like the color of the mold growing under the sink,
My love for you is like the color pink,
My love for you is like the color white,
Like the color of your feet when your pants are too tight,
Like the color of the chains that sparkle so bright,
My love for you is like the color white,
My love for you is like the color yellow,
Like the color of the string on your big fat chello,
Like the color of the eyes of some drunken fellow,
My love for you is like the color yellow,
My love for you is like the color orange….
Orange…orange…
CURSES! Nothing rhymes with orange!
So now I have nothing I can o but repeat orange,
Until the poem finally ends…orange
