"'Cautse I'm awesome, no you're not dude don't like!"

The snow falls gently to the ground
Without disturbing anything around
The sky is finally silent,
For the first time in months
No thunder or rain,
No lightening or hail
There's nothing you can do,
Because this isn't hell.
This is a little piece of heaven,
It's not hot or cold,
But the perfect temperature for all
Do not open your eyes,
You might ruin the surprise
Do not speak,
You might ruin the silence
Do not speak at all,
You might break the fall.
And in this little piece of heaven,
Everything is perfect,
Even you.

The author's comments:
The one thing that inspired me to write this poem was how people view the world, and how they view themselves. I realized how imperfect the world is, and the poeple on it, and how it would be if it were perfect. The "lesson" I took away from this, was that I do not have to be perfect, neither does anyone else.
