Delight Disturbed

I maneuver my characters across the screen
Face glowing
I'm blissful as my fingers glide across the keyboard
Pressing computer buttons gracefully
With each of my ten fingers.
One more level to go.
Will I beat the game?
Anticipation builds
Suspense explodes around my room
Disturbing me
A Voice, from many dimensions away, calling me,

"Sacha! Stop playing games and do your homework!

This sounds true of anyone who has ever been absorbed in something: reading, watching a movie, listening to music, you become lost in another world. I, too have been interupted by "THE VOICE"
