Behind Closed Door

January 4, 2009
Behind closed door,
I am sobbing.
I look composed,
Never showing.

Behind these eyes
Are tears I weep.
I seem content,
Ever fooling.

Behind this face,
there is plain pain.
I look beatific,
Never slipping.

Behind these lips,
I want to scream.
I seem tranquil,
Ever persuading.

Behind closed door,
I am laughing.
I look alive,
Never deceiving.

Lovely, and sad in a beautiful kind of way, like broken glass. I love it.
