I Swim

In dark places
Unknown faces
Take turns staring
I know they’re glaring
At my wounds,
The wounds you left,
The wounds I swim through
the ocean to forget.
Breaking down time,
I try and find a rhyme
To match the glitter and the Ritz
Out of the damn concrete I will rise
But I still feel the eyes
Staring
At my wounds
The wounds you left,
The wounds I swim through
The ocean to forget
And this pagan pitchfork wedding
Between me and past
Will be thrown out the window
the next time I’m moving too fast
Just me and my wounds
The wounds you left,
The wounds I swim through
The ocean to forget

This poem is really deep and I like it alot. It is full of emotion and saddness. I think this poem is well written and it flows really good.
