The Dance
He’s go baby blue eyes
They shine like the sky
And dark brown hair
Which make a wicked pair
I’ll but on my boots
My favorite blue jeans
Start to dance and get down
Let my hair flow around
Yeah, he might stare
And, he may smile
But, he won’t dance
For awhile
I may not be pretty
I may not be sweet
But I won’t lie
No I won’t cheat
I’ll go and dance
And have some fun
Sing and jump along
But when the night is almost over
Yeah, he might stare
And, he may smile
But, he won’t dance
For awhile
He doesn’t know it
How I feel
But after tonight
He will see
That I saved the last dance
Just for him
That he’s the only one
Who can come in
I’m afraid of love
But I do not hate
I know he won’t hurt me
That he’ll care for me
Yeah, he might stare
And, he may smile
But, he won’t dance
For awhile
