A princess waits
Fairytale dreams
Of a prince coming to her rescue

Of something as real as real as a true loves kiss
But back to reality
She is home alone
Hopes and dreams are all gone

No prince no throne
Dreams that seemed so sweet
Now only haunt her in her sleep
Fairytale stories she has heard
True love and happy ever after
