To Boredom,
You there,
Never having fun.
I’ll say let’s go play,
But you will turn your head.
Never listening, never laughing,
Not even giving a smile.
All you do all day is lay your head
On your hand.
And hear all
And do nothing.
All you ever do
Is lie there day after day,
Nothing on your schedule,
Nothing for you to do.
Causing me and my friends,
To sit and yawn,
Never letting anyone
Play, dance,
Run, jump,
laugh.
Sitting there and never coming out from your shell,
Like a tree that has fallen
I, on the other hand…
I skip, I love, I laugh like a little bird.
I’ve never had a day
Where there is nothing to do.
Only fun and mischief.
Making friends scream and laugh.
You are a bore
with no friends,
Only your pillow to rest your head on.
Day,
After day,
After day.
Sincerely,
Excitement
