Sitting.
Staring.
Thinking.
Wishing.
To leave the stairs,
Is the question pondered
For both up and down.
Wield equal tragedy
Lovers.
Faces.
Leaves.
Memories.
I can't decide
Which rock is mine
For the hard place is
Wherever he lies.
Stopping.
Wanting.
Reaching.
Anything.
Where can I go
To avoid sight
When neither up nor down
Ever seem right.
