You just sit there laughing
As you watch me
As I throw my life away.
Down the drain,
Trying to forget the pain.
Pain that has led me to screaming and crying.
While I’m sitting dying,
But only the inside.
All the while I seem so happy,
But that’s only on the outside.
A smile across my face
Hides the blame
That causes me to feel ashamed.
