That touch so soft and scared,
reminds me
of the first time
a person skates
upon a
frozen pond;
Taking the
softest steps
slightest pressure.
Just one wrong move, and they're lost.
And
That touch
so
.soft and scared.
afraid of .breaking through.
it’s
skating rink of
yearning flamed skin:
afraid of going too far;
afraid of falling through.
One wrong touch
And
I'm lost.
