the monster

The monster get's in
dragging away my laughter
barging though my skin
nothing gets better it
screams in my head
calling out failures
calling out fears
sound still lingers
im past broken cracked and scarred
tough as bones
yet alone im
scared of the dark
life gets cold
the color leaves my eyes
temperature drops to 0 in this closure
my body shivers up inside
