Blood
is the red
You bled
That came
Streaming
During the sighs
Amidst the cries
And your screaming
When someone struck you.

Water
Is the liquid that was gleaming
The clear substance that was steaming
When it scalded you as you sought
For relieving
your pains
from bloods
leaving leaving
your body

That’s the writhing slaughter
Of rushing blood
And scalding water
