Fame

By Aryiah Crawley, Rochester, MI

Goblet of wine
Sweet as first taste
But emptied soon

With chambered screams
For one more taste
Of addiction

A noose
A poison
A drug

Stars and worlds fall
To whispers in forgotten winds
And fame is just a slower death
