Pinning Me Down

Inspiration came at me unseen,
I felt it surge within my very skin.
It crawled,
It trembled,
It came down upon me in a sharp sudden pin.
Down to the floor, I did fall.
If only I was somewhat keen…
Inspiration gave me a panic attack today.
And now I’m trying to follow in suit,
As though reenacting a play.
