"Everything seems impossible until it's done," - Nelson Mandela

Who would want a girl like me?
Who's scars cover her body.
No matter what position
I'm still in the same condition.
People always say that I'm so bright
but, I, myself, cannot see the light.
My body's covered in cuts and scars,
and I feel like my heart is held against iron bars.
Mirror mirror on the wall
make me thin, pretty, and tall
And if I can't see the light,
maybe I'll just stop the fight.
End my life, shut it down
I'm so sick of wearing a frown.
I'll take off my coat,
write a note,
and end my life,
by picking up a knife.
Who would want a girl like me?
Who's scars cover her body.
It doesn't matter if I can bend,
for my life has come to an end.

The author's comments:
I wrote this with the base of depression, and I hope that others can read it and understand what I feel, and that they are not only with their own feelings like this.
