Winter Trees

A tree in winter is a hand with endless fingers
Desperately reaching for the heavens
Like a starving child begging for food

A tree in winter is a skeleton that will come back to life
Withering from coldness
Like a beggar in the streets

A tree in winter is a home to the child and beggar
It will provide for them in every season
Like a mother to all

That is beautiful! I absolutely adore how you used metaphors to describe, it really helped me imagine what you were seeing. ;) keep up the great work ^_^
