Favorite Quote:
“So the future seemed
To mingle with the past. For a short space
I saw revealed to the doubt the threads that bind
This little speck of time we call “To-day”
To the great cycle of unending life
That has been and that shall be evermore.”
-Tours

Look- there across, so far away!
Dear ocean flower of the bay.
Sing your dying song,
a sight so very wrong.
To say you kiss me- oh so sweet-
would be your utter and last defeat.

“To find a lady of blooming May,”
-is that not what you say?
Through the glassy sand you so belong,
the waves your salty-timely-gong!
In the ocean’s flower we do meet,
dancing to your melody-a savage beat.

Look- there across, so far away!
Dear ocean flower of the bay.
My lips are cold- but, it won’t be long.
Your hands pluck a poison strong.
The Lady May’s throne is a tempting seat.
To sit in it would by my feat.
