Favorite Quote:
"A thing is not neccessarily true because a man dies for it."

I am but a prop
in this theatre.
Not a star--
Not creator.

I do not sing,
I do not speak.
For, my voice is all too weak.

I play the wall--
a simple task.
Forever hide behind my mask.

And when this play
of life is done.
One character dead,
another shunned--

I will forever be seen as the wall
that stood through life
and watched it all.

The author's comments:
I've never been one to write anything so introspective--so deep. So writing "Theatre of Life" completely went against my optimistic personality. I guess I ventured into the darker side of poetry when I was assigned the part of The Wall from "A Midsummer Night's Dream." At that point, I began to wonder: Does the wall like its part? And when all is said and done, what has the wall accomplished. This led me to a notebook and paper, where my mind ventured elsewhere only to return to tell my hand what to write.

Annie123: Sorry, you were not the one to assign me the part. I think you may have another student in mind.

I have to admit that I was the one to assign Bradi the part of the Wall in A Midsummer Night's Dream. She did however give a bang up performance as the Wall.

Wonderful. My brother and I both love it. You are so lucky to have that kind of talent.

Bradi, I'm terribly sorry to say that you are way to philosophical for your own good.
