I believe that the world
Will end in a fire
So the desire
Causing this
Quagmire
Fries
And dies

I'd soon tire
And go with ice
Which implies
A soul who promises lies
And dies
Detours from Hell
And is captured
Eternally in a shell
Of turquoise glory

Humanity dies
And it cannot suffice
A soul who is truly unwise
And supposes she will be able to see
How humanity dies

This poem was inspired by Fire and Ice Robert Frost. It was written about a year or two ago, when I was experimenting with rhyme and line length.
