I will always remember that day when I first saw him.

The Midnight Black Stallion.

A shimmery black coat covered his whole body with a white star...

...like a star in the heavens.

He runs free and wild ruling the mountain.

I looked for him day after day, but I never saw that wonderful stallion again.

But I do know that his spirit will live forever, running wild and free...
...free on the mountain.

The author's comments:
I have been writing poetry since the fourth grade when i discovered that poetry existed. I immediately fell in love with writing. My poems started out being childish and foolish, to where they are now. Poetry is not something that I think about when I write. I don't control the poem. The poem controls me. I just follow it's heartbeat. Poetry is my passion. I love it. I hope you love it, too.
