picture this a little girl crying
whlie her father is dying
first tower down
her father underground
what would it be like sad
if you lost your dad
ashes on the floor
mothers closing there doors
bodys flying down
while we all start to frown
should'nt we have ran
or just hid in the van
how could they do this?
its not some great bliss
bush wasnt even there
not even to stare
ok whos going to help us
only the US can change us
from what lyes on every corner
and what trys to stand on the corner
we arent alone
not even the mens bones
god was there
protecting us everywhere

i disagree with sunshine. we may not understand but yet it is what she feels. you wouldn't understand many lines from poems unless you put yourself in those shoes. i love the poem. emma is great i know her personally and this is only one of her many amazing poems!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you were right! it should have been shared. good poem but I didn't feel the line: "not even the mens bones" fit right, or maybe I just don't understand what you mean. keep writing!
