"What makes a flower a flower? And why doesn't the dandelion qualify?" -From my poem "Dandelions"

The Angels
The sound hits my stomach
The light flickers against my eyes
Up in the angry skies.
We listen to out sorrows
Leaving

Through the music

Through the rain.
The troubles leave our lives
They vanish with the pain.

Out of our lives

Until they return.
A sky dark and vain
Anger has struck the angels who burn

And bring us close again.
