Praying she doesn't notice.
A faded smile plastered on your lips,
As you try to contain your excitement.
The unsettling churning in your gut,
As she softly greets you.
Your mind chooses not to see,
The love oozing out of her.
The nervous chuckles that escapes her lips,
The barely hearable words,
The movement from foot to foot,
