Each morning I went out to play
And we danced until the skies were grey
Only parting when you crossed those heavy bars
You fell asleep amongst the stars
Later, I waited outside as the winds turned breezy
I knew that you coming wasn’t easy
Even so, you assured that it was never too far
You fell asleep amongst the stars
I know now where you went
Up to the heavens from where you were sent
Unintentionally leaving me with a scar
You fell asleep amongst the stars
