Freedom Written in the Sky

I am trapped between two mountains
My hands and feet stretched into a jumping jack position
A position i am forced to remain in
I can’t move
For if i do the what i am and what they are will collide

I am scared to face the battle
I am stopping an internal war
Because I don’t want to know the outcome
Nor am i ready to bear it

When I look left there is a dead end
When I look right I am overcome with the realization of eternity
When I look down I am close to collapsing with exhaustion
When I look up…

I climb the ladder of hope
I crush the shrouding silk of misery
I dig deep into confusion to resurface clarity
I become mistakes forgotten
I fly away with the birds

I love it. I can connect to it a lot, I'm ver  glad that you wrote this poem. When I find a poem that I like/love, it's like a treasure. This is a treasure, as you are also. You're a talented person and writer. I love that the ending of the poem is hopeful, for we should all be hopeful. Because in the end, everything will be alright and beautiful. Yoour poem is descriptive, powerfu/intense, and all in all, amazing and beautiful. Thank you for sharing this, your poem! ^_^
