A window of opportunity
That gets smaller everyday
A forgotten hope,
The inability to make them stay.
So eternally doomed
A life lived in vain
She heals over time,
But falls into the same traps again.
The need for attention
To feel as though someone cares
A knife in her hand,shining red lines
All the meaning her life will ever bear.
