Cinderella

Passion's Fire
Burnt us deep
Bodies close
Embraced the heat
A gentle kiss
Marked our final hour
My Cinderella rush
Back to my tower
Now the carriage is just a pumkin
The mice no longer friends
And just like ever fairytale
The fantasy had to end
Your smile used to give me hope
That there could be a brighter day
Now it's all I can do
Not to dream about your face
The heart can't break
If it was never whole to start
But you had to go and fill that gap
Just so you could tear it apart
But I am not Cinderella
I won't leave a shoe for you to find
I won't give you the satisfaction
Of knowing you're always on my mind
So I'm walking away
I won't say a thing
I'll just wait for my life story
To write in my real price charming

I love to write and I will never forget the first poem I ever wrote. My parents and my teachers inspire me. This particular piece was inspired by Taylor Swift music, a midnight snack, and my own heart breaks.
