Meth

People shake when they take me
I am addictive and you will see
Just grab a dose of my white powder
And you will feel your legs start to flounder

Not only your legs, but your arms too.
Your brain will make things that are unreal to you.
You might talk to no one in particular
And before you know it, you can't eat dinner

The money you make, is the money I take.
You will steal and kill just for my sake.
I control you; your mind, and your skill.
No one can hold you against your will.

You can take me once and I might let you out,
Of this death thrilling ride in which you have fought.
But take me again and I assure you my assistance
To behave well at my existance.

If you think this is done, this is only the start.
I'll take you away from everything dear to your heart.
Your friends will leave you and your family the same.
You have ditched them for the sound of my name.

The nightmares are a gift and so are the tears.
I will never leave you like those you once held dear.
You run out of me? You steal and you take.
Just as a warning, your life is at stake.

My name is Meth and I am white.
I control everything, even your sight.
You are my slave, and I your master.
I think it's time we go a little faster.

Your life will leave you in time my friend.
And it's not my fault, it's yours. Don't pretend.
I was made and sold behind the school.
You came to me, not I to you.

So when I capture you in my arms,
Will you fall for my little charms?
Come on, let me keep your precious soul
I have warned you, for there is a toll.

The author's comments:
Hopefully none of you who read this is taking Methamphetamine (Meth). It's really bad and can make you break promises you swore you would keep. A few nights before writing this, I was watching, I think it was 60 Minutes, but it was a show of some sort about Meth and the awareness of the poison. That's when I came up with this. Just as some advice--don't take it. It ruins you.
