Shattered

Over and over again,
I fell without consequence.
Till I saw your open arms,
Throwing myself in your harm.
You weren’t there to catch my fall--
Never loved me, not at all.
Every time, I was ignored.
I don’t need you anymore.
I’ve moved on; you missed your chance
Why’d I even cast a glance?
A reflection of my past,
Now I’m cleaning broken glass.
