One

One shot.
Not hear ‘round the world.
Painful, yet relieved.
All it took was one.
One gun.
One hand.
One mind.
One bullet.
Lifeless.
Lain with pain and misery gone.
It wasn’t.
It took just one.

My poem is about a good friend of mine that took his life over his pain and misery.
