Life is a gift from the mighty skies
Life is a gift with certain demise
Life is a gift with color abroad
Life is a gift that isn’t a fraud
Life is a gift that’s passed down and down
Life is a gift that will bring us down
Life is a gift that never says never
Life is a gift that will stay with us forever
Life is a gift with a mind
Life is a gift that isn’t blind
Life is a gift that bring sound to our ears
Life is a gift that only last so many years
Life is a gift that shades our world
Life is a gift that gives us morals
Life is a gift that gives us hydration
Life is a gift that gives us salvation
Life is a gift that will take us above
Life is a gift that will give us love
Life is a gift that will take us below
Life is a gift that will take a blow
Life is a gift that shows respect
Life is a gift that will resurrect
Life is a gift from the mighty skies
Life is a gift with certain demise

This is my first true poem which I wrote for the class-made magazine project in 7th grade. Sadly it didn't get in, but I still think it's passable.

Thank you.  I do agree that repeating a single line gets old fast, and plan not to do it to this extent again.

I really liked the format of this poem! However because of the so many lines, the "life is a gift" got to seem jist repetitive instead of poetic. But I loved the message that came along with it! Very inspirational.
