Racing through the sky, no one anticipated where it would hit.
Every heart was simultaneously broken as ceremony candles were lit.
Muffled weeps and cries shattered the various moments of silence.
Everybody mourned for the results of such violence.
Mothers shed tears for their sons and daughters
Baffled children asked for their missing fathers.
Everyone near or far was effected; for once we were all connected.
Remember.
