Exaggerated cries across the room
Overwhelming air of heavy gloom
Tears falling like a contest
Ebony and onyx, finely dressed
As if whoever mourns most with maudlin and show,
whoever sobs the loudest, is the last to go
can escape the fate I call my own
I am here I am not alone
Strange how now they finally care,
when I am here but not really there

Pretty nice. I'm naturally interested in the subject of death and it was illustrated quite nicely here. Good rhythm and I'm a sucker for rhyme. 4/5
