My Kind Of Day
Every drop against my skin I feel a tingle sensation begin.
Forehead, neck, legs and toes.
I wonder why this rain is so cold.
Could it be that I’m alone not quite standing on my own.
If only you could truly see how much the rain means to me.
Drops that glisten from the sky like the tears that I cry.
They feel like kisses and they take away the pain.
Here I am and I’ll remain on my kind of day.
