Sleepless without you

SO, I remember falling,
but did i get back up?
I remember your soft white hand
but did you give it?
As I lay there in the dirt,
did you bend down to help?
Or did i sit there slowly dying
losing myself in despair?
This happens as you leave me
walking through the trees
so i curl my knees
and try to breathe
as the darkness
creeps
in.
