The blank word document
stares back at me,
the white screen glares,
and my mind goes empty.
What is there to fear in a poem?
It can’t bite …
It haunts my brain as

I wander through

The internet.

Turn on the mp3 player.

Music echoes

through my ears.

A sliver of nothing.

Where art thou,

Inspiration?

Class ends in 10 minutes,
time to panic.
Everything spills out,
The page fills up
To describe
the symptoms

of

Writers block.

All my life I've looked at words as if I were seeing them for the first time. ~Ernest Hemingway

Exactly what I feel like when I get writer's block!

Your style is something to be envious of.
