Old Maroon Car

Every time I walk into a room I suffer from the feeling of being alone
A million same faces, but it's not the same sound
It seems as if I'm indifferent to all that surrounds
I beyond doubt need to be found
I just can't take it anymore
I have to find that missing door
You don't know what you have till it gone
You never focused on the right just the wrong
You didn't realize how much you loved them till they moved on
It seems as if life won't continue along
All that's left is the ashes
To make the pain disappear you're the only one who cashes
It all in
I have to know why I had to lose you
I barely had enough time to get to know you
I want to know if you miss me
I want to know if even loved me
I want to know if the pain that you once tried to get rid of still haunts you
Like it does to me too
Why did I have to lose you forever
Now there's no more time spent together
What am I going to do
I lost someone I wasn't even close to
How am I suppose to feel
How am I to coup, to deal
I guess I'll be better I time
You're the man that was never mine
But I just can't let you go
I'm feeling the pain, yes I know
It's crazy, I try to black it out but it plays over again
You weren't even my friend
You're gone
Time has moved on
Till dawn
Thats when my heart stops
Thats when my stomach drops
I see the lights swirling
Coming are the cops
I see you in that car
I run to stop you but you're just too far
Too far, too far
Now all that's left is that beat up old maroon car
You don't know what you have till it gone
You never focused on the right just the wrong
You didn't realize how much you loved them till they moved on
It seems as if life won't continue along
Your gone
Yet things still continue on
You left no note
You left without saying good bye
You left to leave, to die
In my dreams I go back to the time, that spot
But now there's no you just that beat up old maroon car
