In the event of a snowstorm
Please everybody stay home tonight
We don’t want you driving you cars
Out on the slippery ice

In the event of a thunderstorm
Please cover your ears tonight
We do not want all of you
Listening to the heavens fight

In the event of a rainstorm
Please make sure your covered tonight
We don’t want you walking home
The rain will chill you and block your sight

In the event that the stars shine
Please everybody stay in tonight
We don’t want you seeing them
You might be blinded by the light

In the event of anything
Please everybody do what your told
We don’t want you getting hurt
You know the world is cold

I really like this, KS! It's very realistic. Like this is what everyone is telling us. Although maybe you could add another stanza on the "stay awy from the good". The stars shining was pretty, and maybe you meant the rain as a god thing too, but some people may not percieve it that way. And (from the excellent joyner english) 'your' is possessive. 'you are' is 'you're.' :) Keep up the good work, tho!
