Among the gifts of nature I have
I find my friends the best

Good friends are hard to find
But we get them with time

We come to know each other better
When we spend hours together

Then we say we are 'Best Friends''
But with time we change our trends

Our friend is with us always
Be they bad,happy or sad days

Then somebody whisper's in our ear
'Your friend said things that were not fair'

Then the worst decisions we make
And are ready to break

The friendship we say was too strong
It cannot be harmed by any storm

Then we go to our friend and say
'I wanna breakup with you today;

And don't even listen to our friend
And change our path in an instant

We think we've done the right
But time makes us realize

When we become lonely and exhaust
And cry upon what we've lost

But then it is too late for anything
And everything changes within a blink

Today as I sat here with trembling hands
To write few words about my dead friend

To me the whole world seems to be dead
And has left me alone to fight with my fate

And now when I listen to my friend's name
I only wish we could be together again.
