Singing Poetry

September 24, 2008
By Michaela Layne, Flower Mound, TX

a
poem
can sing
into your heart
and laugh and cry
and sing its way into your mind
like a bird's precious singing in the wind
floating so high in the sky
singing out with a sound
waiting to come down
very gently
down,
down,
down,

to

the

ground.
