I can see you there,
Right next to me,
Dark and quiet,
Gentle hands
Entwined in mine.
I feel your eyes
Probe into my heart,
Knowing my thoughts,
Hopes and dreams.
My escape,
The one who knows me,
My sweet oasis.
But a blink and you’re gone,
Just my mind’s fantastical
Hallucination.
