Darkness is Home

By
When the dark night falls on me, i stand up and wipe my tears. I stride forth, feeling at home, with loneliness as my partner and pain as my child. I strike fear and hate in the eyes of others as i walk past but i show no recognition of the ones i know. When the sun shines, burning my face, i sit back down to cry the light away.
