I've been staring at my notebook for
hours,
trying to capture that feeling in
words,
that feeling you give me with every
touch,
that feeling you give whenever you
speak,
that feeling I get from the taste of your
lips,

(those lips,
those lips,
all of
those lips,)

I'm trying to capture that song in your
smile,
that scent of your essence lingering from your
soul,
that glow that surrounds you from your
cigarette,
that breeze deep-seated in the pit of your
voice,
that slow little swagger inside of your
step,

(that step,
that step,
take me
with you.)
