Favorite Quote:
I know that fantasies are merely dreams. But when I see you take me by the hand and gaze into my eyes, I know that my dream, my fantasy, is a reality.

My Dear Friend,
I thank you.
You brought me to a new path,
Away from darkness.

You bring out the Good in me.

You showed the light in me.
The passion in me.
The humbleness in me.
The Right in me.
The Strength in me.
The destructive fire of creation in me.

Though the floods rise on me,
You are the Rock
That makes my House stand firm.

You bring out the praise in me.
The Victory in me.
The joyful tears of sorrow in me.
The forgiveness in me.
The empirical belief of faith in me.
The Wag* in me.

My Dear Friend,
I'm lost without you.
Through my struggles,
You I turned to.

*Wag Swag:A term used for the friends and family I work with.

I wrote this poem for my English class. It is based off of the poem "You Bring out the Mexican in Me" by Sandra Cisneros. It is dedicated to some of my friends that helped me through some really tough times.
