A World of No Lies

What difference would it make
For a lie to not exist
In this world that we live in
Would honesty be dismissed?
If no one was to worry
About ever being done wrong
Would we live in a world
Where we all got along?
What difference would it make
For hate to not exist
Would all the anger and fights
No longer persist?
Hate is simply the cause
Of the lies we tell today
But if the hate ceased tomorrow
Could this be the peaceful way?
