I'm not the same little boy you raised
I'm sorry
I'm not content with the christian coating that over me you glazed
I'm sorry
I'm not staying in the moral fields you grew me to graze
I'm sorry
I'm not one to think in straight lines but rather a maze
I'm sorry
That I honestly could care less about a few people's opinions
I'm sorry
That I made you feel like my emotional and mental minions
I'm sorry
That you may cry when these words reach your ear
I'm sorry
That this crowd entitled apology isn't entirely sincere
