ill carry you home

with all the hate and frustration
the tears and the scars
i look for my serenity
and cry
carry me home
carry me home

with all the fallen and wounded
the broken and damaged
i look for my serenity
and cry
carry me home
carry me home

with out the caring and forgiving
theres no love or laughter
we will not find our serenity
untill the dove bird sings
ill carry you home
ill carry you home

The author's comments:
what inspired me to write this poem was the war. the dove bird represents peace, which we will not have untill the war is over, and families loved ones stop dying.

I love this. It's very beautiful, reminds me a bit of ee cummings. very simple but powerful.
